Clear Bags for product storage and display.

I love using the clear bags for my prints, aceo cards, and paintings. You can get the bags with hangers, so it's easy to display your work at shows. The work stays clean and protected. The bags are tough, and remain clear through many display setups and take downs.

The bags give a clear visual presentation of your art, no matter how you use them. I like placing smaller paintings inside these bags when I ship the paintings. Your customer can open the package and see the painting while it remains protected.

The clear bag company is very easy to work with, I've called support there and found them very helpful in determining which product would work best for certain needs.

Jack White Books

Jack White is a master marketer of his art. You can get his books here. Once you have his books, read them often. They'll make you feel good about being an artist, and selling your work.

A great marketing website.

This site is new, put together by two artists who've been making a living with their art for years. And I might say, a successful living! Steven Filarsky and M Theresa Brown, have put together a website with many resources for artists to use.

Their advice and assistance is tried and true. You can read their story here.

I will be paying more attention to this blog, and posting more marketing advice and tips as it grows. I've found a lot of ideas in the last few days...

Artists, generate an income from your own artwork.

Creating doesn't end when your painting is finished! Once you've layered the final color and you know the painting is done, the work begins. Now it's time to get creative with ways to generate an income from your artwork
.

One way to insure your work is seen, is to spread it around. There are many sites on the internet where you can upload your work, create a free website, and your work will sell there through prints, cards, t-shirts and other items.

You can go to redbubble here: Buy art

I like this site for it's ease of use. Uploads are quick, even on slow dial up, the connection is rarely broken.

The products created on Red Bubble are excellent quality and Red Bubble backs them up. You can create t-shirts, giclee prints, cards, calendars and more.

Another plus to the Red Bubble site, your work is showcased there in a website you create, complete with shopping cart and your pricing. It's all free, and you can upload an unlimited number of images. Your images can be photography, or paintings.

Red Bubble has several widgets you can place on your blog and websites. The widgets are attractive and quick loading. They showcase your work and direct customers to your Red Bubble site. There are forums at Red Bubble, where you can connect with other artists, keep up with the latest trends and get help when you need it.
